Wednesday July 5

Evergreen Brick Works

Movie Nights at the Brick Works

 

When: Wednesday, July 5 · 6pm

Where: Evergreen Brick Works 550 Bayview Ave, Toronto

 

Kick off the summer with a family movie night under the stars! On three Wednesday nights on July 5, August 9, and September 13, watch a family movie under the covered Pavilions! The best part is that admission is free or pay what you can!


Don't worry about the snacks because treats will also be available for purchase! Get cozy by bringing your own blanket or lawn chair to sit on. It's not a family movie night without your dog, so bring your furry best friend along for the night!


This week's movie will be Turning Red. Showtime is at sundown, around 8:30pm!

Thursday July 6

Beaches Jazz Festival

 

When: Thursday, July 6 - Sunday, July 30 · 11 am - 9 pm

Where: The Beaches Toronto

 

The international month-long jazz festival is back in the Beaches neighbourhood! See internationally acclaimed jazz musicians play across several different venues with concert stages in different parts along the Beach's main street.

 

There are also a ton of workshops and lectures for lovers of the genre to attend. The best part is that the whole festival is free!

 

Bring your dog along to listen to smooth jazz and to feel the rhythm in their feet.

Toronto Outdoor Picture Show

 

When: Thursday, July 6 · 7pm

Where: Corktown Common - enter at Bayview Ave and Mill St, Toronto

 

Grab some blankets, your furry best friend and get cozy for a night out at the movies under the stars! Nestled between the Distillery and the Don, Corktown Common has unbeatable views of the city's skyline!

 

No tickets are required to check out the film as admission is free or pay what you can!

 

Doors are at 7pm where you can grab some snacks to munch on, with a ball performance by Toronto Kiki Ballroom Alliance at 7:30pm with the movie starting at sundown, around 9pm!

 

This week's movie is Paris is Burning!

Friday July 7

Toronto Outdoor Art Fair

 

When: Friday July 7 - Sunday, July 9 · 10am - 7pm

Where: Nathan Phillips Square Toronto

 

The 62nd annual Toronto Outdoor Fair is back at Nathan Phillips Square to meet over 400 different artists from across Canada.

 

The weekend will be filled with art installations, live painting, art tours, programs, music dance and great food!

 

The event is on rain or shine!

Saturday July 8

TD Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival

 

When: Saturday, July 7 - Sunday, July 9 · 12pm - 8:30pm

Where: St. Clair Avenue West (between Winona Drive & Christie Street) Toronto

 

The annual street festival celebrating Latin culture is back in the city! Dance through the neighbourhood of St. Clair West where there will be a massive salsa party with non stop dancing and beats.

 

Make sure to check out the different flavours of the different countries and cultures before you head out!

 

You and your pup can learn how to salsa dance with all the different dance workshops as well!

Unwind from your busy week with a puppy yoga class in downtown Toronto! Get your group together for this unique fitness class with adorable puppies and a refreshing mimosa. Wondering what breed of puppies we will have for your class time? Follow us on Insta to find out!


 

The perfect event does exist. Begin with 45 minutes of Flow Yoga while puppies zoom around the studio. Then enjoy a refreshing mimosa (orange juice and sparkling wine) for 30 minutes of chill time with the pups.
