Holiday Photoshoot at the Thompson Street Parkette

On Dec 9th The Richards Group will be be hosting a free dog Christmas photoshoot at the Thompson Street Parkette leash-free (Broadview and Queen).  

We’re going to have a photographer and some dog props so people can dress their dogs up and take some cool photos with them!

Any donations for the Santa photoshoot will go towards supporting the Toronto Humane Society.

Holiday Magic in Bloor-Yorkville

Where: Village of Yorkville Park - 115 Cumberland St 

The Village of Yorkville Park will light up on November 26th along with 138 trees along Bloor Street, illuminating the neighbourhood for the Holiday Magic season (November 26th – December 31st), while creating a unique destination for visitors to shop, dine, and take in the neighbourhood’s art and culture. Additional programming throughout the holiday season includes: strolling carolers dressed in Victorian-era costumes on select weekends in December, along with festive green and red lit Urban Campfire Benches on Bloor street.

In addition, Bloor-Yorkville continues to celebrate the holiday season with the Toronto Premier of Fleurs de Villes NOËL from December 7th-11th, a festive self-guided floral trail across the Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood.

Immersive Photo Experiences

Holiday Hills will feature festive + immersive photo experiences to get you in the holiday spirit.

SANTA'S VILLAGE: On the South Lawn, 

guests can sip their warm holiday drinks within the Santa's Village, a large heated outdoor patio riddled with 20ft inflatable Santas and Christmas Trees.

PUPPY SLEIGH: In Bark Yard, our new off-leash licensed dog space, the Puppy Sleigh photo experience will allow guests to sit inside a life-size Santa's Sleigh. The Puppy Sleigh will be mounted behind 4 Reindeer, with a space for guests to hook up their dog(s), and give the puppies the reins.

DISCO MISTLETOE: Nestled right beside the main gates, the Disco Mistletoe transforms the Marketplace into a funky, sparkly Mistletoe experience, and offers a unique and romantic scene for guests to come together for their romantic holiday photo-ops. This activation is presented by Monos, who will also have a pop-up unit for the duration of Holiday Hills.

The Distillery Winter Village 2022

When: Thursday November 17 - December 31, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Celebrate the start of the winter holidays at the beloved Christmas Market.
The market is open from November 17 through December 31.

Tickets are required on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays after 4:00 pm, and December 27-31 after 4:00 pm. Tickets are $11 + HST each. Kids 9 and under are FREE of charge
All other times, access is free of charge and tickets are not required.

Note: Shops are not dog-friendly however all outdoor exhibitions and pathways are open for dogs to visit. 

The Junction 3rd Annual Window Wonderland 

When: November 25, 2022 - January 1, 2023 from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Where: The Junction

Toronto’s award-winning immersive urban art walk, Window Wonderland, returns to the Junction for its third consecutive year. From November 25 to January 1, 2023, Window Wonderland, presented by Isaan Der Authentic Thai Kitchen, will transform the Junction into a FREE, magical outdoor gallery featuring 20 unique augmented reality (AR) installations. Window Wonderland will also showcase four animated wall murals, two of which are new to the Junction and have been designed by local and international artists.

The first of its kind for the City of Toronto, Window Wonderland is presented in collaboration with Artivive, an internationally-renowned AR app that is changing how art is created and consumed. Providing access to over 200,000 international artists, Artivive allows artists to create new dimensions with a digital layer, opening a new world of possibilities. Visitors at Window Wonderland can simply point their smartphones at the artwork on the windows and wall murals, and voila –  watch the artist’s creation come to life!

Winter Campfire Site at Elliott Tree Farm
